Terms of Use

1. Nature of the service

Polaris compares calculations and symbolic interpretations from several fortune traditions for reflection and entertainment. It does not guarantee future events, provide a scientific diagnosis, or replace medical, legal, financial, employment, credit, or other professional judgment.

2. Free service and account

The advanced fortune scan is currently free. A scan can be used without signing in. Optional Google sign-in is used for saving, searching, comparing, backing up, restoring, and deleting up to 100 readings.

3. User responsibility

Users are responsible for lawful and accurate input. They must have appropriate authority before entering another person's birth information and may not use the service for abuse, rights violations, excessive automation, or security circumvention.

4. Saved material and backup

Users control exports and deletion. A restore adds only validated, previewed items and does not automatically replace or delete existing readings. Users are responsible for protecting downloaded backup files.

5. Advertising

Advertising may support the free service on eligible informational pages. Personal fortune flows and account or legal pages are ad-free. Advertising may be disabled for privacy, safety, quality, technical, or regional reasons without reducing the free core fortune scan. If approved demand partners compete, personal fortune data is never used for selection. Provider delivery, empty slots, viewability, timeouts, errors, and broad price bands may be measured only in fixed non-identifying values; exact bids and deal identifiers are excluded.

6. Service changes

Features may be corrected or temporarily limited for calculation quality, security, legal compliance, or incident response. Material changes will be announced where reasonably possible.

7. Intellectual property and open source

Original Polaris interfaces and editorial material remain with their respective rights holders. Open-source components and licenses are listed in the public open-source notice.

8. Limits of responsibility

Fortune results are reference material, not a warranty for user decisions or outcomes. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
